Citrus fruits

Within our assortment of citrus fruits we handle our own two quality brands. On the one hand, there is Cibel as our top quality label and, on the other, Byki of medium quality.

The quality brand Cibel has been on the market for already a number of decades and has during that time managed to build up an excellent reputation. Cibel represents the quality brand for oranges, Clementines, and grapes. Only those products that fully meet the required high standards of excellence may be sold under our own brand name Cibel.  In 2002, Central Fruit took title of possession of the Cibel quality trade name.

In order to be able to guarantee the availability of a given volume of a specific quality for the Cibel quality brand, Central Fruit does, in collaboration with V. Ros, cooperate with various producers operating across a number of production regions in Spain. By an ongoing inspection and evaluation process, the producer can be regularly monitored and, if and when necessary, asked to upgrade his products.

In order to accommodate the increased demands for Cibel quality products, Central Fruit set off in search of new production partners. To this end, we established contacts in South Africa, as a result of which we are now in a position to offer our Cibel assortment all year- round.
